Bahamians and their Turtles

NO it is not illegal to touch a turtle in the Bahamas.

With that being said turtles in the Bahamas are an endangered species, over the years there has been millions of turtles but not so recently. The amount of turtles has been decreasing drastically.

Have you ever tasted turtle? If your answer is "no", neither have I let's keep it that way.

Let's just swim with them, The Bahamas is home to 5 of the worlds 7 species of sea turtle: Green turtles, Loggerhead turtles, Hawksbill turtles, Leatherback turtles and Olive Ridley turtles.
